#### 1/ Why are we switching to paid plans? <a href="#id-3-1-why-are-we-switching-to-paid-plans" id="id-3-1-why-are-we-switching-to-paid-plans"></a>

We’re committed to continuously improving OPTIS with new features, better performance, and long-term reliability. Introducing paid plans allows us to invest sustainably in the product while maintaining a high standard of quality and support.

As a thank-you for supporting us early, **grandfathered users receive an exclusive 15% lifetime discount** whenever they choose to upgrade.

#### 2/ Who is considered a “grandfathered user”? <a href="#id-3-2-who-is-considered-a-grandfathered-user" id="id-3-2-who-is-considered-a-grandfathered-user"></a>

You’re a grandfathered user if you installed and used the app **before paid plans were officially introduced**. You keep special benefits that new users won’t receive.

#### 3/ What happens if I don't upgrade? <a href="#id-3-3-what-happens-if-i-dont-upgrade" id="id-3-3-what-happens-if-i-dont-upgrade"></a>

You can continue using the app as usual. No upgrade is required by default.

An upgrade is only needed ***if you want to accessing locked features:***

Some advanced features are locked to keep pricing fair as the product evolves. Locked features include:

* Product Group: if you already use it, existing groups will keep working but become view-only (editing or creating new groups requires an upgrade). If you haven’t used it before, an upgrade is required to access it.
* Features released after pricing plan roll-out (i.e. Variant Image - showing only relevant product images for the selected variants)

#### 4/ Will I lose access to features I'm currently using? <a href="#id-3-4-will-i-lose-access-to-features-im-currently-using" id="id-3-4-will-i-lose-access-to-features-im-currently-using"></a>

No. Everything you’ve already set up and used **stays exactly the same**. Your existing configurations, storefront behavior, and data are fully preserved.

#### 5/ How long does my special deal remain valid? <a href="#id-3-5-how-long-does-my-special-deal-remain-valid" id="id-3-5-how-long-does-my-special-deal-remain-valid"></a>

Your grandfathered deal applies **for the lifetime of your monthly subscription**. Once your plan is active, you’ll always pay **15% less than standard pricing**.

#### 6/ If I downgrade my Shopify plan, will I be charged less?

Our app plan follows your Shopify plan. When you upgrade or downgrade your Shopify plan, your app’s billing will automatically sync with the new plan. The price difference will be prorated and credited to your next billing cycle.

Example:

You prepaid $49.90 for the Advanced plan at the start of the billing cycle. You later downgrade to the Basic plan ($11.90).

On your next bill, you’ll be charged $11.90 for the new cycle, and the $38.00 difference will be credited back to you

All adjustments are handled automatically by Shopify billing.<br>

#### 7/ If I pause my Shopify store, will I still be charged?

No. In this case, the billing will be automatically stopped.

#### 8/ Can I get a refund if the app isn’t a good fit?

All paid plans include a **30-day free trial**, so you won’t be charged during this time. We encourage you to reach out to our support team if you need help getting value from the app.

If you’re not satisfied after your **first payment**, you’re protected by our **30-day refund guarantee**. Simply contact us within 30 days of your first charge, and we’ll issue a full refund via Shopify.
