Product Group sub-categories

Split a large Product Group into smaller sections to make product options easier to browse on the storefront.

How it works

• Create sub-categories to organize products into sections. Each sub-category acts as a separate section within your Product Group.

• Each product can belong to only one sub-category. Products you don't assign to a sub-category will remain in the main group.

• Sub-categories appear as separate sections on the storefront, with the same order you set in the app.

• Changing a sub-category name does not delete its products. The products remain in the group, but if the sub-category is renamed or removed, those products move back to Ungrouped.

• Don't need sub-categories? Your Product Group will continue to display as one flat list, just like before.

How to set it up

Open a Product Group → enable Sub-categories toggle

Create sub-categories and assign products

Add a name for each sub-category, then select the products you want to include. Repeat this for as many sub-categories as you need. Any product you don't assign will stay in the main group

Click Save
