Tooltip

Tooltip shows extra information when a shopper hovers over a swatch, without needing to click it. Configure it in Global settings.

Option	What it shows
Off (default)	No tooltip on hover
Show label	The option value name (for example, "Royal Blue") in a small tooltip
Display large image	A larger version of the swatch's image

Display large image only applies to image swatches on the product page. Every other combination (color swatches, collection pages, other display types) falls back to the label tooltip instead.

Turning this on is helpful when the color or image alone isn't obvious enough, or when a customer might want a closer look before selecting an option. Remember to click Save after changing it.
