# Tooltip

**Tooltip** shows extra information when a shopper hovers over a swatch, without needing to click it. Configure it in **Global settings**.

**Display large image** only applies to **image swatches on the product page**. Every other combination (color swatches, collection pages, other display types) falls back to the label tooltip instead.

Turning this on is helpful when the color or image alone isn't obvious enough, or when a customer might want a closer look before selecting an option. Remember to click **Save** after changing it.
